Hi Everyone,
With signs of spring here at last we wanted to send out a reminder to everyone planning to test for the H Rating and higher:Applications for the H, B, HA and A test should be sent to me no latter than March 25th .Catherine Williams374 Middle StreetWest Newbury, MA 01985.978-465-4321You need to get your DC signature and a club check for test fees made out to USPC before you send it to me. I will take care of RS signature & mail all applications to the National office.(note: HB and C3 applications go to Wendy Johnson and Lelo Curtis) - watch for HB /C3 updates)The application is posted on both the CNE website main page (thanks to Iris!) and on the USPC website - under Forms, T for Test applications. ( there is one application for HB to A rating). Everyone must also read the "Test Information 2008" form. It is also posted on both sites. This spells out all the requirements and rules for testing. (Please pay special attention to requirements of notification if you decide to withdraw from testing - You must notify the test organizer, the National office, Betsey Reeves and Catherine Williams. There are deadlines for withdrawing to get test fees returned. Please read the application requirements carefully. USPC will return incomplete applications and then there is an additional late fee due.Anyone testing for the H / HA must include with the application proof of having passed a 1st Aid course .You can find test locations and dates on USPC - under Opportunities at the top of the site. You will need to select 3 choices for test locations. CNE will be hosting a B and A test for both Traditional and Dressage tracks in August at UNH.We have two great camps organized for this summer. Anyone testing is required to attend at least 1 camp, both are recommended. All wanting to ride with some great clinicians are welcome! The 1st will be over Memorial day weekend at KingburyHill. the second will be July 10 - 14 at UNH. Mark the dates on your calendar now. Applications will be posted soon.On April 26 there is a mounted clinic with Nancy Grout. Nancy is a National examiner through the A. Anyone planning to test for the B this year is required to attend. (details are posted on the CNE webpage) This will be a great way to get early feedback on where your riding is compared to the standard. Again all ULs are welcome to attend this clinic. Please email to reserve a spot asap. After April 5th we will open this clinic to any C2s looking to prep for the C3. (if you are planing to test and you don't have a horse or your horse isn't fit enough to ride - plan to come audit. Please feel free to call or email us with any questions or concerns. We're here to help you anyway we can. Hope you all are selling lots of Yankee Candles. And we are looking for your help with the food booth at Quiz this year. We need your participation and expect to see you all there!!
