Pony in Carlisle for 1/2 lease. We are looking for an experienced 9-12 year old rider with whom to share our pony. "Cindy," a 12.3h P.O.A., has taught all 3 of my children how to ride and has taken my daughter through her D3 Pony Club rating. We keep her on a beautiful, family-friendly farm in Carlisle, MA. Wanted first pony: Do you have a nice pony that your children have outgrown? I am looking for a pony for my son who is 7 yrs old. I want something very calm, and safe to ride. Denny is an 18 year old, 14.2 hand pony with a great work ethic and exuberant personality. Light off the leg, huge supension at the trot, knows his aids and great on the trails. He would make a great D level pony club pony, 4H, and low level eventer. Has done hunter paces, low level events and has participated in a theraputic/able bodied lesson program but would love his own person. Denny is an easy keeper, healthy and up to date on everything. Zephyr is a 16 1/2 yr old 14.1 hand Welsh/Arab Gelding. My daughter has sadly grown out of him and we are trying to find an advanced beginner to give him a new home. Kingston four horse tag-a-long (bumper pull) trailer. 1976, triple axle, 7 feet high, 26 feet long, loaded weight around 10,000lbs. Has carpeted dressing room and tack compartment with saddle rack. (Room for 8 saddles.) Seven new tires in 2007. New brakes 2007. New pressure treated floor 2005. Painted 2005. Wiring checked and fixed in 2007.  Put up on lift in 2007 to check frame, found good. Wheel bearings checked and repacked in 2007. Front two horses have mangers, back two TB style. Stud doors between. Head dividers all around. Dividers between horses are half, and are removable. Four escape doors. Fully matted. Plenty of ventilation. Ramp hinge needs welding, but trailer is in usable shape. Does have some rust and rot in exterior sheet metal here and there and is missing some interior padding. Has weight distributing hitch brackets and sway bar attachment. This is a sturdy, heavy, well-built trailer. They don't make them like this anymore. If you want to tow with a Suburban or van, or have a camper, this is a great alternative to a goose neck. I am leaving to France in september and am trying to find a free lease for my 16.3 TB gelding, Finnbar. He is only for an experienced rider with a calm/strong seat. He has been trained in dressage and is showing at training level, he has also been started over fences. At 7 years old, he is a perfect project for the right rider. Luna is a 14.1H, 6 Year old registered pinto pony mare. Very sweet, smart and willing to learn. In-your-pocket, quiet on the ground, good for vet and farrier, gets along with all people and horses. Great in the round pen, longlining, longing, etc.. Naturally low headset, goes in a bitless bridle or with a loose ring snaffle. Knows voice commands, responds well to your seat, knows her leads and flying changes are coming; has free jumped, trotted small jumps under tack, including cross country jumps on hunter paces up to 2�6�! She didn�t bat an eye at them- is very honest and laid back about jumping. Can turn on a dime- might make a nice gaming prospect for a strong junior rider or small adult. Has gone western and looks good in western tack! Beginning more serious jumping and dressage work- a great pony club prospect. Is very responsive and sensitive, and as such, is not suited for a beginner. Easy keeper, very healthy, great feet with barefoot trims, UTD on everything. Been to the beach, in the snow, to indoor arenas, ridden in clinics, on hunter paces, etc. Once she knows you, she�ll talk to you and follow you around like a puppy. Free Lease: Decorated (Dex) is a 14 year old, 16.2 hand, dark bay, off the track thoroughbred. He is big bodied and still somewhat green. He has a good heart and is very willing to learn and please. This past season I worked a lot on groundwork, dressage, back strengthening, and stretching exercises. He does not really enjoy jumping and is not very bold, but he is very excited to just hop over cross-rails occasionally. He is a good trail horse and has been to Acadia, the beach, and has been extensively hacked his whole life. He has no vices, but can get very bothered by the flies. I can talk to anyone about Dex in much more detail if you are interested. I am a HB ponyclubber and I'm headed off to college in the fall and would really like to place Dex in the right home. Picture Perfect or "Percy" is a 6 year old, 13.3hh, Welsh Pony gelding. Knows his way around a hunter course and is a handy jumper. Honest and brave, he knows his distances and is very point and shoot. Oxers, flower boxes, rolltops, he wont bat an eye. Bombproof in the ring or on the trail, or take him cross country. Knows how to go in a frame and land on the correct leads. Schooling flying changes. He is a wonderful pony but will test occasionally. He would be a wonderful pony to take any child into the blues on the hunter or event circuit, as long as he gets one "real" ride every so often from a trainer to keep him from getting bored.
